• Profile information: professional details, target roles, experience level
• Payment information: processed securely through Razorpay (we do not store card details)

2.2 Information Collected During Interviews

• Audio recordings: captured during your in-app mock interview sessions
• Transcripts: generated from audio using speech-to-text technology
• AI-generated feedback: scores, assessments, and improvement suggestions

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Device information (type, operating system, browser)
• Usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration)
• IP address and approximate location
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens for push notifications

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the AI mock interview service
• Generate personalized interview questions using our self-customised in-house AI solution
• Produce detailed performance feedback and scoring
• Process payments and manage your credit balance
• Send interview reminders and notifications
• Manage the referral program
• Improve our AI models and service quality using anonymized data
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

We use the following third-party services to deliver our platform. Each service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies:

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure with the following security measures:

• All data is encrypted at rest using Google-managed encryption keys
• Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher
• Secrets and credentials are managed through GCP Secret Manager
• Access controls follow the principle of least privilege
• Database access is restricted to authorized services only
• Regular security audits and monitoring are conducted

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
• Interview recordings and transcripts are retained for 90 days after the session, then automatically deleted
• Feedback reports are retained for the lifetime of your account
• Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations
• Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, commonly used format
• Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

NestPrep is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
